I just ordered a cheap ebay cai. but i know its not gonna come with instructions so does anyone have any articles for installation of the cai on a gt. I have seen them for v6's just wondering if the install is the same.

its pretty simple. u cant do it wrong it only goes on 1 way. u just gotta put the 3 pieces together. the only tool required is a flat head screwdriver and maybe a wrench or socket for mass air bolts.

alright cool, so is it just a direct swap. I heard with other cai's with big filters they would be a b*tch to put the filter on through under the car but this filter is smaller so it doesn't have that problem?

Well with my tunable induction I had to take out one screw on the fender to pull back the black weather guard. Then you slip the filter into the fender and you should be good to go from there.

This is going to be the second time I post this advice. Those cheap CAI from ebay suck. My body got it thinking he would save some money and guess what. Next thing the thing broke and a piece of the intake wnet into the engine. The rest of the story you can imagine how it went. Is not worthy guys putting that cheap stuff in you cars. Trust me I've seen what it can do.
