Default CAI ??

Ok well when i bought my car it came with a cheap no name cold air fenderwell intake. Yesterday we had a really bad storm and I went through a intersection that was flooded, lucky for me I was just coasting but halfway through the car stalled out, but made it all the way through on the roll. Im assuming that it was suffocated with water and cut off I pulled the thing off on the spot and there was no water in the tubing, so I dont think it got into the engine. I want to avoid anything like that from happening again. I was looking at getting JLT Performance Ram Air Intake (96-04 Mustang GT) from American Muscle do you guys think this is a good one or is there something else i should go with?

Yea I like Steeda as well, but price is a bit of an issue for me. The JLT is a good price and ive heard lots of good things about them as well. Plus im sure I could get the discount code from American Muscle.

So far bamachips.com is the cheapest place I have found for JLT intakes. $150 for the ram kit $205 for the fender well kit.

Well mines some piece of crap, probably off ebay with a filter the size of my fist, which I know cant breath well. So for me I just want to replace it with something better, and I don't want to suck water and blow my engine like I almost did the other day. Not getting a fenderwell one is just peace of mind for me.
