I didnt think of that jeed, that could be a possibility. When the exhaust gets over rich because of misfire the o2s will actually read lean and the computer will add fuel adding to the problem.

yeah exactly!

like i got my car tuned, it was running properly for a good month or so and then it started choking past 5k rpm and gradually lower... the stock wires couldn't spark up to +12* timing that my tune had with 91 octane with a 12.9 A/F Ratio so... im sure thats whats wrong with your car :]

and hey oxfordgt, long time no talk whats up?

I wouldnt say sure thats the problem. I had a buddy that got a mongoose kit installed and tuned by MPH. On his way back from GA he called me and said he was haveing the same symptoms. So he got to my house and i drove it then hooked a fuel pressure sensor/guage and drove it again and it turned out that the brand new gt40 pump MPH put in was a bad one. They set out a new one next day shipping and his car is running fine to this day. MPH rocks in my book.

Had another buddy where his computer was dying and couldnt rev past 4000

So basicly the problem needs to be narrowed down. If you got a tunner datalog the fuel pressure and spark and see which one it is.

I had a tuner sent with my kit, but it was locked to the previous vehicle so it won't do jack **** for me. That is interesting. I understand where you guys are coming from. I have a buddy who's a GM tech who has the necessary equipment to help me diagnose this problem. Only problem is he's 2 1/2 hours away. I was supposed to take my car in tomorrow for paint and a new windshield, but I may keep it an extra week to get this **** fixed.

Thanks for the help again guys. Learning a **** load from you all.
