ok so i heard that the carpet in the car can burn if u weld in subframe connectors i want to know if this is true becuase if it is then i will not be getting weld in subframe connectors

i made my own subframe connectors and welded them in myself, you do NOT have to remove the carpet.

I welded my subframe connectors in without any problems, if you are using a MIG or a TIG you shouldnt have any problems, the only way you might burn the carpet is to use an oxy-ace torch and suck at welding.
