Keep in mind: Even though there is a 3-5mm difference for the inner diameter, but that's the entire length of the approximately 20" of pipe.. That's a large difference in potential air velocity..

I thought the throttle body was only like, 3 inches long. The average CAI pipe is 3.5" in diameter so i figured id go with that. My friend has almost the same setup, 75mm tb/plenum, 3.5" intakepipe (not really a big deal, nearly allCAI's are the same, he got a cheapo off of ebay), gears, headers and underdrive pulleys, and hes runnin13.4's.

For now im just gettin a decent CAI (i already have a k&n filter, just need a pipe), and a tb/plenum combo. Hopefully spending less than400 after all is said and done.

Damn, I wished you lived closer. I think I have a CAI pipe in the garage with the IAT hole and all. I bought the ebay cheapo and two weeks later I bought the Steeda. Seems the cheapo had issues staying together. I don't even think I have a picture of it installed since it was on for so little time. Maybe our cars are just different enough that it would work for you. I think I still have most, if not all, of it in a box. Anyway, PM me if you're interested. I check this most evenings, but I will not be at my house until this weekend.

the only problem i had was that i had to tap in the throttle cable... it was a good improvement and well worth the 200 bucks

the little ball that attaches the throttle cable to the throttle body was wider than the spot where you attach it, so i had to get a hammer and flathead screwdriver and tap it into place...
