quarter window molding removal and door molding
anyone know how to take off the quarter window molding the right way? and the molding above the door. I am talking about the painted outside part of the car. Mine dont look to be seated up right against the roof line. so I was going to try and fix it. does anyone know if this would be a problem if they had the small gap against the roof?

RE: quarter window molding removal and door molding
Ok, first remove the upper door molding:
1. Remove the weatherstripping (there are small plastic pins at each end)
2. There is a railingwhere your window meets the roofline, remove that
3. There is an 8mm bolt above the door hinge
4. Finally you should have access to the screws holding the molding on.
Now the C-pillar:
(inside the car)
1. Pop open the seat belt cover and remove the bolt (t50)
2. Disconnect the rear window defroster
3. The trim piece is held in by christmas tree push pins, just pull
4. You should have access to 4(?) nuts holding the molding to the car
