12v power source

Default 12v power source

does anyone know if there are any fuses or so INSDIE the cabin of the car that will give me atleast 12v of power so i can mount and wire my tach ... i want to keep all the wires inside the car , i dont want to have to go into the engine bay and things like that . thanks

Well, dont you have a fuse box under youre dash? I used my cigar lighter hot wire for my 12 volt source.

which one is the cig lighter hot wire ... what color is it ... maybe ill cut it and do the same thing ... i have a 99 GT i dont know if that matters

Pull the shifter bezel, look for a white with purple stripe wire going into a connecter on the driver's side of the console. This wire is switched 12V, and is used for a convertible top switch. It's in all 99-04s regardless of whether or not they're a vert.
