first of all i have a 1996 mustang gt that ibought and it has188,000 miles and i am worried that if i start investing in this car (aftermarket parts) something will happen to it and it will die or somethinglike that. so i was thinking about just replacing engine with the same one or even the corbra engine just so it's newer or one that has a lot less miles. i geuss my qeustion is my how much would it cost what would i have to replace with it(headers, wire, tran, rear axel ect), and where would i go to replace it (charlotte, NC), or do you have anyother suggestions besides swapping it out(rebuliding ect)

Hey man im in yadkin county..but look on ebay or at your nearest junk yard for a mach 1 motor or something. if you can help it, dont get a 2v lol. but if you do..get a PI (99-04) motor


you'd need to replace the ECU..might as well get headers. and someother stuff lol

im lookin at swapping mine out here in a few years. i was thinking either one of the termi motors from 03 or a SN95 Cobra Motor then throwing a procharger or vortech on it. The termi makes high 3's for hp and the SN95 cobra motors makes 305 (+ the blower)... just my thoughts. goodluck
