you'll find that hardly any CAI is worth the money- its only worth it if youvaluethe under-hood looks, sound and the 1-2 hp it gives you that much.

i've got one. Its iight, i didnt really feel a diffrence but it sounds and looks cool. You'll probably end up buying an intake anyway so just get either the K&N or the JLT

alrigth thanks guys! i think i'm going to buy it anyways. another quick question...i'm having some high idling problems. i'll be cruising at 2200rpm, push in the clutch and it doesn't want to idle down. we think it might be the I.A.C, but not too sure. has anyone had any of these similar problems?
thank you!

clean out your IAC with some carb cleaner, if that doesnt help reset the computer by disconnecting the negative terminal for a few minutes, finally check your TPS voltage if your running an aftermarket throttle body. Have you removed your MAF screen?

Other than good looks and sound, it's basically useless.
The K&N is the best of the non-fenderwall kits (JLT) IMHO though...

As for your idle problem, clean the IAC with Mass Air Flow sensor cleaner or electrical contact cleaner... Also clean the port it plugs into.

remove your battery ground for 30 minutes or so after to kill the KAM (keep alive memory) and see if it helps..

Also while you are in there, clean your MAF sensor with the same spray and check for loose hoses, especially the snorkle leading up to the throttle body.

Don't use carb cleaner for this as it is too caustic.
