RE: coils
Most will say that it doesnt really matter, but it seems to me that if your going to replace somethin, you might as well go with a better aftermarket part. MSD, Granetelli, Accel, and MotoBlue are all decent brands. The main thing is to check to see that there is as low of a resistance as possible. If you dont hate rpmoutlet, they usually have COP kits for pretty cheap.

RE: coils
well can you help me........if my car is idleing it sounds great but in the back ground you can hear a puff every now ...next thing driving at a constant rpm ex 4th gear 55mph cruising there is a small power surge every so often small enough not to cause any problems but big enough to feel... some say plugs, some say coils, some say o2? opinions? before i spend a bunch of wasted money
under acceleration the surge is or seems to be obsolete

RE: coils
could be a couple different things. I would take it to a shop and have them plug it into their comp and read the spark each cylinder is getting. That will tell you if it is COPs or plugs. If not a fuel filter is always a cheap guess that isn't a waste either way.

RE: coils
I doubt seriously that you'll notice much of a diff if at all between OEM and aftermarket. I have quite about of money spent on my car and more worried about power per dollar than most and I went with a cheap set of new coils on ebay for $85/ set of 8 w/ a 2 year warrantee.
