I recently ran across some Granatelli Motorsports High Output coils they claim 15hp N/A and 35hp Sprayed/Blown.....? If this is true why does more people not run them? The price or is the number complete B.S...
I you believe what Granatelli says about any of their products, then I have some nice ocean front property in Iowa that I'll sell you cheap...
agreed. GMS quality is about as bad as it gets. I had their weight jacker control arms fall apart and do $$$$$ damage to my car. I would never buy or recommend any of their crap!
I got 8 coils for $85 on ebay with a 2 yr warantee

When you start boosting they make a big difference. WEAPONX coils are the best........i use a Boost A Spark.
+1. I plan on doing the WeaponX's eventually, but I also plan on doing a twin turbo EVENTUALLY, which is where coils would come in, as well as a piggyback ignition like a boost a spark.

I run 11 psi of boost and tried a couple diferent brands all performed the same. they all performed well. however if you have some getting weak or going bad boost will definately finish them off

No I don't think it's about the quality he's refering too... It's the fact that they claim any HP gain at all. There is NO hp to be gained by adding aftermarket coil packs on a mild street car.
