Default 3v engine in a 03moose

alright so one of my buddies picked up an 03 mustang, and had his engine grenade because the apparently the oil filter blew up. anyways. i found him a brand new 2006 3v 4.6 for cheaper than getting another 2v engine.. (both engines being brand new crates) what major problem would we run into accessorie and electrical wise. havin the 3V engine in the car?

Default RE: 3v engine in a 03moose

you need adapter plates, a cobra throttle body, and something to remove the variable cam timing, i cant recall the name of it atm. What I just mentioned runs close to another 700$
