Default hi and low fan on temps?

anyone know what the factory hi and low fan-on temps are for a 99-04 gt? I want to play around with it a bit to maybe keep under the hood a little cooler.

I set my low to come on @ 160 and my hi to come on @ 180. I have a t-stat that begins opening @ 160 and by 190 is fully open though. The new 4v I'm running with is more sensitive to IAT's than the old 2v so I gotta keep it cool.

Can the fan temps be adjusted by a Diablo? If so, how? User manual doesnt say anything about on/off temperatures, and I dont wanna f*** nething up by blindly changing the settings.

stock values are -

low speed fan on = 214*
high speed fan on = 228*

edit : I have a 160* t-stat. my low speed turns on at 180* , high speed is set at 190*.

eeek. I didnt realize the stock settings were that hot. I set my fans to 160/190. Im thinking about a 180* thermostat but I heard going too low will cause premature engine wear. does 180* sound safe? I'm thinking 160 would be too cold.

160 is too low for our cars. It will kill gas mileage because it will keep the computer in cold drive off stratagy. The ecu doesnt switch over until 185* ect. 180* is fine for a stock cooling system with fans set at 180 and 190.

For example I have a 180* tstat, aluminum radiator, electric water pump and fans set at 180 and 190 and my ect stays at 170* which is way to low. I put in a stock 192* Tstat and I am running at 187* which is perfect.

in my software it has "ECT to switch to base fuel table" at 180* as the stock value . I have mine set to switch at 130*but it doesn't matter what its set at cuz theres a parameter called "fuel time to switch to base fuel table" that overrides ECT . stock value for that timer is 5 seconds.I can see it switch from cold fuel table to base fuel table w/ my WB5 seconds after I start my car no matter whatECT . the ECM can also be datalogged to see what fuel table , spark table , etc it is using .

I was a little off w/ what mine are set at , I checked & there at 186* & 194* . even w/ the 160* t-stat my high speed fan still turns on sometimes , usually stays in the low 180's when cruzin though .

I use sct's software . do you have different stock values in your sniper software ? heres a few pics of what I have , stock vs. my tune . I forgot about the open/closed loop ECT scalars , that might be what your referring to , just called something different in my software . if your maf is off down low & your still in open loop than it will run rich or lean depending which way the maf is off .
