wow that interior looks sick. plus you had almost all the bolt ons and were only getting a 13.8 so maybe the Cobra was what you needed and with about 2500 bucks if that you can get that thing to 500 RWHP. don't listen to the ppl who said its a waste of money.

I think it was a total waste for u to hook up your GT like that. And then get a cobra?/ But hey, its your car and your money!!

This coming from a person that has probably NEVER driven a Cobra. They are a MUCH better platform than the GT. I had a full bolt-on GT and I just got my Cobra with a Kenne Bell and 530 HP with the BIG pulley and I wouldnt trade it for nothing?

Welcome to the club, man. Cobras are really nice, huh?

I get that all the time. People tell me i look like im 15 or 16. Im 22 and i buy everything on my own, no help from mom or dad. I spent every extra dollar i had on mods for the GT, and now im gonna spend it all on the Cobra. Im in the Air force, Just got back from Iraq, its not a bad paying job. Thanks for all the comments and for getting my back Dan02GT.

Why would you supercharge a GT when you can buy a car ready to handle 1000hp with a rear end change?

I don't exactly know what all was done to the GT... but I gather it was pretty sweet. What I don't understand is why everyone is jumping his back over this.... But as Dan02GT (who obviously knows a lil bit) said... my 2v gt with plastic internals is no match to a 4v with forged guts.... Excellent choice 03SilverGT [sm=youreright.gif]

Not really though, honestly the only really big difference is the engine, but you have to put up with the IRS.

I looked at a mach 1 today, that seems like the way to go if you have the cash for a supercharger. Hell even a healthy shot of N20 would be nice, and you already have the stick axle and a solid block etc.

I was having problems deciding on supercharging my car or going with a cobra, but they are still around the 25K range, and you still have to deal with the IRS. For 4-5K you can supercharge a GT and outrun stock cobras, and for another 2 you can blow the doors off of moderaltly modded ones (obviosly not KB ones).

In any case I dont think it was a waste of money (other than all of your mods you coudlnt switch) and it defeiantly sucks to have a bunch of cash in a car that still runs 13s. I feel your pain on this one, I have come close several times to just saying screw it and trading her in.
