yea i have no cats on my car and i havent checked my plugs just yet. i think i will this coming monday. what should i look for in the plugs?

my car only threw the cat code but the underlying problem was just a loose plug and a few odd ball plugs from the dumbass before me but the shop scanner can eliminate a lot of controversy and at least tell you where your problems are or where to start looking

Pull the COP's and clean the coiled up wire on them in the boot. Then pull the plugs and replace or clean them up real good. If i am correct it will be the 2 nearest the firewall on each side. Use a wire brush to clean the wire.
The same thing happened to me and it took me about 3 weeks to figure it out, the rubber boot on the valve cover does not keep all water out and it seeps into the plug hole. If i am correct it will look like a bunch of sludge in those 2 plug holes. try not to knock anything down into the plug hole though.

thanks alot i will do that as soon as i get to the shop in the morning. also is it bad to driving the vehicle while i have this problem?

Well it's prolly dumping unburnt fuel into the head which obviously can't be good but not sure of how bad it actually is though.
