traction control light

Default traction control light

since i bought my car a couple months ago, the traction control switch would turn the TC on and off, but the light would not change, it was burnt out. i just today got a wholenew wswitch to put on, and they light now comes on when i turn on the car, but when i click it, it doesnt change. it always says its off. anyone know why?

On my '02 the light is ON when the traction control is OFF. My traction control is turned OFF in the chip so the light stays on all the time no matter what I do to the switch. Yours is probably turned off in the chip.

someone has used a tuner on it or a chip or custom tune....something to permanantly disable the T/C

The light stays on ALL the time right? I shut off my traction control with the predator tuner and the light stays on all the time and I can change it with the button.

Mike did you set the predator tune to "off"? I have mine on disabled. But does the "off" give the ability to turn it back on?
