I recently have been posting about a lower intake gasket leak. I replaced the gaskets, plugs and 4 ignition coils, I drove for 3 days before my car started stumbling again,today I got around to checking everything again and was planning on doingare-torque on the intake bolts when I noticed that everytime I pressed on the radiator hose, I would see more antifreeze appear. I had enough sunshine to finally see where the damn thing was leaking from.

It is leaking underthe aluminum coolant crossover. How do I fix this leak?Is this a gasket issue or can I use some sealant?
I would rather not take the intake off again if possible.

is it leaking where the intake meets the head? if so replace the gasket and make sure both surfaces are clean and smooth.

If its leaking were the crossover meets the intake your going to have to remove the intake to remove it.The bolts are underneath the intake. The dealer is the only place i know that can get the gaskets.

Thanks, it's leaking where the crossover meets the intake. Didn't want to remove the intake agian, but I have to fixed this. I have to make a little trip to the dealer tomorrow.

yea i needed them for a customer's car and my parts guy said he could get them. He had to search a little bit but he found them.

I was just told by 3 ford dealerships that I have to get a new intake. This is some BS!!!!! I need a part number if possible.....

Cool...Thanks - I know that sometimes dealers will tell you sh## just to get money. They want 725.00 for a new intake install.. F@@@@@ crazy.....

Its true since they get paid by what they sell. 700 dollar maifold or maybe a 5 dollar gasket. Which one you think there gonna want to sell. But i'll check into tommorow for you. Like i said the parts guy told me he could get them when i asked before.
