Default 35+RWHP from an intake kit?

I'm sure someone has posted something about this in times past but the search function doesn't seem to like me or I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Anyway, I found the following posted on eBay. My question...is this bullsh!t, did they get the 35 horses with other mods not listed, or is the 35+HP legit with this intake kit?

the whole intake... sounds close to what you'll get... though i dont like Professional products ...

i would say more like 20ish hp gain though

i wouldn't waste my money on an intake unless your pushing major boost...

now the plenum and TB... i WOULD get...

BBK TB and C&L intake

the stock long runner lower intake on 99+GTs promote low range torque something we mod motors need.. most aftermarket intakes are short - midlength runners which will give a little more up top... which really isnt nessesary.. well at least IMO...

i'm sure others will chime in

oh side note.. all that chrome looks nice... but that medal intake WILL heat up... your plastic intake... for the most part will not...

heat soaked intake = no bueno

I'm not going to be doing any racing, whether it be street or strip. I just want a performer. A toy. Something that sounds good, looks good, and can pin you to the seat. I won't be adding a supercharger/turbo or nos to it but I'm considering dropping some Patriot Stage II heads or a set of 2005 3v heads.

If you read closely youll see that the peak HP increase on those are at some insanely high rpm. Usually 6200-6500.

then no... i wouldnt do it..

spend your money elsewhere...

full exhaust and CAI,TB and plenum... (everything except for lower intake)
get some gears youll feel those for sure (i need some!)

good ol chambered mufflers and a good X pipe and your car will sound nice...

stage 2 heads and cams...

you'll have a potent street car that will put a smile on your face...

damn... 4:56!

get some long tubes

and heads/cams...

then of course your gonna want to go faster... so it will be a supercharger or nitrous..

then you want more

so build that motor... then more boost and or nitrous

now you broke your rear end...

built rear...

sadly you will always want more...
