All I can tell you is make sure you get someone who you know for a fact has done long tubes for your car. Trust me when I say this. I took mines to a buddies place and he didn't know how to do $#@! It was a complete nightmare beyond what you would believe. There going to have to raise the engine to get to it and they take about a good day to get done. I love my long tubes, don't get me wrong but make sure you get em' done right.

mod motors are such a b**** when it comes to space for anything.. ive never done LTs, but ive put on a couple sets of shorties with the motor in the car and i had to undo the mounts and jack the motor up as far as i could. i wouldnt even attempt doing a set of LTs without pulling the motor out, but thats just me.

Iv'e installed them both ways. Lifting the motor does work If you dont have a lift. The best way to install them is to remove the k-member. Which works really well if you have lift or know someone that has one. You can still remove remove the k-member without a lift but you'll be working on the ground and that always suck. But with the k-member removed its easy. All the bolts are right there.

Longtube install on our cars is very easy. Most people that say it sucks either never did it or tried to do it without dropping the Kmemeber. I have installed them in 3 hours on friends cars and when I did my car(first longtube install I ever did) it only took me 6 hours. Dropping the Kmember is the most time consuming part and takes about 1 hour. If you try to do it without dropping the K then good luck.

+1 on dropping the K member, very time consuming too. Even Shorties on our cars take quite some time.
