Default What should i be able to run in the 1/4

Ok since ive almost have my car back in my garage after the shop did some work...

its time for some bench racing

what should i run in the 1/4 with the following mods

2000 Bastardized Mustang GT:

Rebuilt 1997 Mustang GT shortblock
Stg 2 Patriot Perf. Heads, Ferrera intake valves, Ferrera Exhaust valves,
FRPP seals,Surfaced, Comp. Three angle valve job, Full port and polish
Comp Cams 262XE
Mac O/R X
Mac Catback
Ported C&L Plenum
C&L Intake
Accufab 75mm TB
FRPP King Cobra Clutch
FRPP Flywheel
FRPP C Springs
KYB Shocks struts
Custom Diablosport tune
17in FR500s w/ 275

I'm still having stock manifolds on so thats my only bottleneck on the intake/exhaust

dyno d
290 hp
315 torque

and next question is what could i do to improve my times.. other than practice... and long tubes (cause theyre coming...soon)

290 RWHP..hmm low 13 high 12.
i think the biggest thing to lower the times will be control arms, ditch the C springs and get adj. shocks struts and Drag radials.
Also noticed your missing gears..

I know this is a dumb question but why did you have your heads polished? As far as ETs it's too hard to tell because there are too many variables.

I bought the heads off of someone because he was getting married and that was what he wanted...
but hey i cannot complain... he was so desperate to let go of them i was able to grab them for 600 and some change

I guess I was just wondering if they were really polished and if so why. Most ported heads these days including Patriot are CNC ported, the way I understand it is the CNC port has better air flow (I guess because the air whirls around the grooves) and if someone went out of their way to polish a CNC grooves out it would be defeating the purpose and like taking a step backwards. I know that most people are use to saying 'Port & Polish' and don't think much of it. It just caught my eye when you said Full Port & Polish, the 1st thing I thought is... why would someone do that to their heads....
But I may be wrong.

like I said CNC is better so that's a good thing. As far as 12's what is the elevation of your track? 12's shouldn't be an issue as long as you are way way above sea level. I went a 12.4 and I know my car has a few more tenths in it when the weather cools off. I think on a drag radial you should expect mid-high 12's.

HRP is a fast track but very humid. I am gonna say low-mid 13's because of lack of suspension.

correct me if im wrong but you only want to polish the exhaust ports because you do not want carbon to build up and decrease flow. You want the intake to keep its rougher finish to prevent gas from beading and causing random a/f ratio changes or in the case of stock cars to pass emmisions.
