The ford dealership says that I have a power steering pump leak. Thus.. I complained about when i'd crank the wheel tryin to back out a space there would be a squeal..... They said there is a leak. What do you guys recommend I do?

Wat? If it squeals when it hits the lock thats another thing. You should know if you have a leak... its kinda self explanatory. Your reservoir will go down, drips on the ground, and they are especially noticable on this car. If you actually do have a leak I guarantee its one of your hydroboost lines going from pump to booster to rack .

On another note, try to never hit the wheel locks when you turn and if you do not more for a moment, the line pressure more than triples and it puts alot of stress on the system.

No the resivoir is not down or anything.. It just makes a weird squeal noise when I would turn the wheel (not even all the way) and only occasionally, no brakes applied. Also, it happns as im giving it juice too, and the wheel is moving.

My pump groans sometimes, I really don't think theres any issue with your car. Ford has an axe to grind and theyll do anything to charge you for unnecessary services.

Its just small things and I get alot of self-satisfaction troubleshooting and fixing my own car.
