Default Dash removal

Anyone have or know of a write up on how to remove the dash. I wanna replace the heater core before winter and I don't feel like spending the money to get a shop to do it.

I tech manual should tell you how to remove the dash. It's much simpler than removing the older fox dashes. Pull the console, drop the column down, pull the radio out, unbolt the dash and disconnect the plugs, and It's out.

I've done mine 3 times..... STUPID MOTHER F$%^&! I have to do it again because it's bad again. What ever you do, make sure you at least take out the passenger seat, it's so much easier that way.

I just had mine done. It's still under warranty. The heater core and AC is all in a box and they had to take all the AC lines loose from under the hood. Looked to be a pain.

Yeah I go to an automotive school and I just had climate control. I asked my teacher if we could do my heater core in lab and he said no way in hell are we doing a heater core on a mustang. Thanks guys for all the advice. Since my clutch is gone and I'm broke it will give me a good reason to start the heater core project.

p.s. If anyone gets longtubes make sure your A/C lines are sitting on them... I have a hole in suction line which is the line going to the compressor and now I would need a new accumulater, new compressor, and possibly a new evaporator and condenser. So my next project will be eliminating my A/C completely.
