Default Rear Diff. Limited slip / or Posi

Okay i have a 98 cobra I just put a T-56 swap in and Im running 4:10's and the stock clutch packs are wearing out and its my daily driver and im trying to get some help with what rear end diff to choose from and what would be a good choice out there ive been looking at the eaton LSD on american muscle and a few others and wanted some feed back on this Diff. and what I should lookfor thankx

you could just rebuild it wth the carbon fiber clutch packs. that would be the cheap solution, an upgrade would be a detroit tru-trac.

well I just want a rearend limited slip thats not gonna give me any issues at 480-520 hp range and something that I can daily drive. I dont get time to go to the drag strip so a posi would be a bad idea for a daily driver ... And I dont want to be cheap fixing nothing ill spend 400or so on a rearend thats not gonna break or slip and im sure its worth going to a 31 spline also instead of the stock 28's

a limited slip and a posi are the same thing, just different nick names between manufacturers. maybe you mean a locker or a spool. if your not making any hard launches and are doing street driving only i wouldnt see a problem with rebuilding the diff with carbon fiber clutch packs and maybe some forged replacement axles.
