Are the caps supposed to make it easy to read? Im still confused about this one!

If you really want to spend the money on a CAI, buy one of these http://www.demolet.com/

Click on 'Specifications' at the top
Scroll down to 'System #4 and #5

That is what you want to buy!

So far it seems to work better than the fenderwall CAI I had from MAC. They advertise it to to the best out there. I really have nothing else to compare it to. Looks good, it has a
huge filter and it's a upgrade to a 85mm MAF. Im glad you ask the question, I havn't seen any post on it. When I go to the track in the next couple of weeks, Ill let you know if it was worth the money.

I have the short shot. I only had exhaust, but when i put the intake on i could tell a difference in power. It also looks really good to with the big heat shield.

I have a MAC Straight Shot with the 85MAF welded in. When I got it, it did pick up some power, but I had the Accufab75mm TB and C&L Plenum installed at the same time. Not sure what was making more power, but from stock, if you do all three, you will feel it. I had the Densecharger on before that, but it started to fall apart a bit so I just needed a replacement and the MAC was what my shop just happened to have at the time.

I had this and hated it. I paid $280 for a junk product. Very little gains if any. I have the densecharger now and I love it. Plus everyone says to stay away from bigger mafs and its true. The one that came with the straight shot made the car very lean and detonate from 3500 rpms and up. If you're looking for something that looks good get the straight shot, but if you want something that will perform and actually give you gains you can feel go with densecharger.

You can get one with the densecharger but I didn't. John at Demolet said that 2002 and up cars doesn't need the bigger maf. He said that he's had higher gains with the stock maf. Ford did a good job with the mafs and you don't need to change them unless you're blown.
