Default Need help please

Can someone give me an Idea what is going on. I have an 03 GT, It ran fine in the morning then in the afternoon it started fine and when I got a block down the road when I went to give it gas it wanted to die out. Luckly I was able to get it home. I was able to start it again and it was idleing terrible and would die out as soon as I put it in gear. I am unable to drive it because of this. Now it is having trouble starting at all and when it does it idles extremely rough. Does anybody have any idea as what might cause this? Could it be the I.A.C. Valve? Or could it be the dreaded and expensive fuel pump? And advice would be great.

Thanks

Start with the IAC, it most likely needs to be cleaned or replaced if it's never been cleaned previously. Then check fuel filter, fuel pump, plugs, etc.

Check for a vacuum leak. IAC is responsible for idle, you said the problem happened when you went to give it gas.

Injector Pressure Sensor could be bad as well.

Bleed the pressure from the fuel rails using the schrader valve. If when you start the car is runs ok for a second, its probably that.

Fuel filter is cheap and easy and could be the problem. Worth changing before spending a lot of money on something else.
