Default need new headlights not sure about ebay..help

My headlights are shot with the plastic so bad that i can hardly see at night and i have looked at ebay and seen some that are selling less than 100 a pair but i am not wanting to pay 45 or so in shipping. Blue oval has them for around 125 with 12 in shipping. Also i have seen so may different kinds but was going to get the tined or smoked. I think that was stock on late o1 model. Please help dont want to buy junk.

I bought 2 sets of smoked headlights from ebay. Each one of them got water in them when it rained. The only way i could remove the water was to take off the headlight, shake the water out & use a hair dryer to get the moisture dried up. Basically u get wait u pay for ,i def. would go for OEM it will save u alot of trouble

I had the same problem a few months ago, with my headlights being worn out and crappy looking. So after a little bit of research, I just bought some from American Muscle. Yeah, they cost a little more, but as mentioned before, you get what you pay for.

Also, you have to go to through the trouble of actually "re-sealing" just about any pair of headlights you buy, just as a precautionary measure. Often times your headlights were made months ago, and have been sitting boxed up in a warehouse. It only takes 15 minutes, and it keeps water and condensation (fogging) out of the headlights.

There is a tutorial on how to re-seal your headlights correctly, on the American Muscle website, BTW.

I bought a set of ebay headlights and they looked great. No sealing issues of any sort. There is one issue with alignment but it is only cause I am OCD and im sure it really wouldn't bother too many people. It is possible to shop around on Ebay for quality stuff even though I know most of it is junk. *hint* look at the user reviews
