I did the swap for under 800 myself. I did exhaust headers at the same time. It was worth it, but I love working on my car. The total cost was about 1050 with the headers. It took me about 30 hours to do. Would have been less but I ran into some stubborn bolts and was usually drinking at the same time. Also one thing to remember is with this swap you have to run at least 89 in your tank do to the higher compression.
