Need suggestions please

Ok here is the situation.I have an03 Mustang GTwith nitrous, and itis having trouble starting in fact when it does manage to start it idles horrible and eventually will die out. I cannot put it in gear or drive it because it dies out. I have replaced the IAC VALVE and it did not help at all. I read the Haynes manual and it states there could be a fuel problem. I only have 38,000 miles on the car. It sits a lot. I was thinking about changing the fuel filter next. If that does not work the problem may be in the mass airflowsensor that costs about $120. Does anybody have any suggestions what may be wrong? Also does anybody know how to check to see if the MAF is bad?
Any help would be greatly appreceiated. I am hoping not to have to change the fuel pump.

Thanks

Are you getting a check engine light. Have you checked the plugs? Did you have your car tuned? You are leaving out alot of info.

ok.....I have never used a tuner on the car. I do not have a check engine light and I have not checked the plugs yet. My next option was to change the fuel filter. Could this be the problem?

Thanks

That could be the culprit.
Your not getting any check engine lights?

I plan on changing the fuel filter this weekend. I sure hope that is the problem. Would this cause the problem if the car only has 38000 miles?

thanks

Fuel Pressure Sensor aka Injector Pressure Sensor. Easy way to test is to unplug the connector going to it and see if it idles better afterwards.

what plugs and gap are you running? did this just start happening all of a sudden? if you had some detonation it may of closed some plugs up.

Where is the fuel pressure sensor located at? I have a hard time even starting it so I guess after I can get it to start I can try this. Where can I disconnect it at?
Also I have the original spark plugs in it and have not changed anything there. These plugs look like it would be a pain in the a** to change.

Thanks

did you just put the nitrous on it? a possibility could be either an inproperly wired fuel solenoid or a leaking fuel solenoid. this would cause raw fuel to enter your intake manifold causing the rough running and idle problems.

the nitrous kit has been on for 2 years and I have used it a total of about 6 times, most of which was in the first year I got it. How do I check the fuel selenoid?

Thanks
