synchromax in power steering

synchromax in power steering

since our cars use mercon ATF for the power steering, do you think its okay to use royal purple synchromax as the fluid? did anyone ever try that and have any problems?

because im going to flush out the system and fill it. and i dont know if synchromax is okay to use, and if not, then ill just use ATF.

im sure you will get a lot of answers but i would go with what it comes with from factory to be safe that cuase im a worry wart

I thought Syncromax was for manual transmissions.. I'd just stick to the standard ATF, since the rack was designed for it.. Even if you were doing something like AutoX or Road Course, I don't think it'd be that big of a deal anyway, since ATF can take a serious beating before it's lost it's lubricating/expansion properties..
