Default Info on Jasper remans. 1997 Cobra

Hello, I have a 1997 Cobra that needs a motor. I am thinking of going the Jasper route as their warranty is very good. Anyone have any opinions or experience with the Jasper motors?

Thanks in advance.

I have a freind that owns a shop in Va and he swears by them. says they are tip top and the price is very good for them. Back in the mid 90's the fam had a 91exploder which roached a motor. had a jasper engine put in its place, worked perfect. they back up all their products with a great warranty and have good customer service if you ever have a problem.

I believe you have to have the engine installed by a "Jasper Certified" shop in order to get the warrenty. I could be wrong you will want to verify

yes that is most likely the case. thats what we had to do when the exploder engine went. there should be a few shops in and around your area that deal with them

Thank you for the info. The shop I am going through is a Jasper dealer so the warranty would be good. I was just thinking of going that way because a friend bought their motor for his Cobra and it had a bearing failure after just 3k miles. A new motor was shipped and installed and has run perfect since. There was no cost for him at all on the second motor, didnt even pay for the fluids.

Nobody with any bad experiences then huh? Guess I will go that route then. Thanks!
