anyone shed some light on a question please.</P>


what is the most horse power you can get out of 4.6l 2002 stang engine without changing alot to the engine (etc. valve replacement and such).</P>


and what changings can you do to modify for the most bang for your buck</P>


turbo vs. supercharger</P>


with or without cooler and what brand would you recommend</P>


ihave added 25hp chipm cold air induct (mac) and 4" flow masters so far</P>

400 rwhp supercharged is pretty much the limit for reliability. Intercooled or not, doesnt really matter at moderate boost levels like 8 - 10 lbs that much as long as you get a dyno tune. The extra 1k for an intercooler isnt worth it for 20 more hp in my book. Now, if your going with 12+ lbs boost, without an intercooler you wont be doing much.
