Default 315 nitto D/R's or 275 Generals?

So i just ordered C-springs and steeda udp's, and was going to order gears too, but 4.10's plus 100 shot on 245 general's i knew wouldnt cut it. So im between buying 275/40/17 general exclaim UHP's and the 4.10's, or just buying 10.5 inch bullets and nitto 555 drag radials, 315/35/17.

Benefit of getting just the generals is i get more rubber and save money on tires and on the fact that i dont need to buy rims. That money ill use for frpp 4.10's. What would u do?

i personally would go with 10.5's in the back 315/35/17... its only a couple extra bucks.. well worth the look though. so aggressive from behind... than i would keep saving for gears

Why get the gears and not be able to use them to their potential with a subpar tire. I would do the 315 Nitto's and wheels or just get 275 Nitto's and get the 4.10's.

275 nitto drag radials? ill have to look into it. i already have to 245 generals in back so ill get two more for the front + nitto's for the track. that'll be my best bet. how much diff could 315 to 275 be?
i may buy a pair of sotck 99 cobra wheels, i think they are 9.5's, will 315's fit on em?

General Tires Suck! My nitto front & rear (315's) have lasted longer than the generals. That's just my $0.02

in all actuallity they will cost about the same because you can sell used nittos on eBay. I usually get about $100/pr on my bald nittos and put that towards my next set. Nitrous + 4.10's is useless on any street tire.

$800ish for the nittos and 10.5's anthracite rims, but then i figured id need a regular set of tires too. i dont want to waste nitto's on the commute to work lol. my options really are, 245's all the way around and 10.5's with D/R's for track only, or just the nitto D/R's all the time in the rear.

do any of u guys run drag radials all the time? how many miles you get out of them? i havent even been to the track yet, but i think the generals grab pretty good. which leads me to believe im not driving hard enough.
so at the track running drag radials what rpm do you guys leave at? like ballpark, i know track prep, temp and all effects your launch. im def in need of a driver mod i think.
