Weird Noise under car
I have a 2000 Mustang GT and it has always made this noise.. not ALL the time, but a good lot of the time. I used to have a V6 Mustang and it did the same thing! I am sure one of you guys is familiar with this hissing noise.
BTW.. in this video.. it is pitch black but the camera is underneath the car and I am opening and closing the door repeatedly because it makes it hiss like crazy. It happens ONLY for about 5 or 6 minutes after I turn off the car.. then goes away. I noticed this noise cuz obviousely when I close the door I'm standing right near the car and I hear the hiss. It'll hiss on it's own very quietly but.. here ill shut up. Watch the video and lemme hear what ya got. Thanks guys!

RE: Weird Noise under car
Leaking onto the exhaust would have to occur over the side/back of the motor. The only thing I can think of is maybe
A) Leaky valve cover dripping oil
B) Leaky intake dropping coolant over the back of the motor
C) Leaky freeze plug somewhere on your block dropping coolant
D) You recently washed the motor and you have water sitting in the intake valley
P/S lines dont even really run anywhere near your exhaust and the only place it could leak onto the exhaust if it was would be the lines coming off of the hydroboost booster/master cylinder on the firewall.
