5.4 swap
Hey y'all, i just bought a 5.4 Navigator motor and im trying to get all the parts lined out to install it into my car. What would I need as far as the exhaust is concerned, such as short or long tube headers, the midpipe ect.

RE: 5.4 swap
I would use the stock manifolds and an o/r x-pipe. To make a 4.6 midpipe work all you have to do is stretch it apart a bit. The stock navigator intake is waaaay to tall to use with a stock hood so either look into a new intake or a bigger hood. The intake piping itself is non transferable so youll more than likely have to mock some custom stuff up if you plan to use the stock intake.
And lastly, make sure EVERYTHING is in order before dropping the motor in the hole. The valvecovers are NOT coming off once it is in the car.
