Default one last tb ?

OK before everyone jumps on me like a pack of wolves ive read past post about the throttle body and plenum combo and it seems the way to go is the C&L plenum and a 75mm tb, ok here is the question is there a certain brand 75mm throttle body in which i should go with i have been looking at accufab and thats the way im leaning towards right now i just wanted to know if it really mattered which 75mm tb i should get.

The Accufab is what they tested with but BBK is another good choice.

That is the way to go with price in mind and yes 75mm tb........... but without price in mind the best dyno proven results ive seen was accufab plenum with accufab 70mm tb

^^^ Showdown number 2 is still fairly new. Im still up in arms whether the Accufab combo is worth the extra mula? $100 is a big chunk of change for only a 2-3 hp difference! My vote is for the Accufab 75mm TB with either the C&L or Trick Flow Plenum.[&:]

you also have to look at the ranges............. the horse power gains for 75mm was only after about 3800 where with the 70mm tb and the accufab plenum the gain is across the whole rpm range.....look at the dyno sheets and not just the "max" numbers....... but if $100 is worth it to you or not is questionable...... make your own purchase...like CAI the numbers are very close and are based on opinion

Dude, you should just get the 75mm. All the tests have shown that you gain more peak hp and more hp throughout the band with the 75mm and C&L plenum. I'm not sure if this is true for other brands of plenums, but if you go with C&L then get the 75mm TB. I just ordered a C&L and a MAC 75mm TB....should see some good gains.

I have the C&L plenum and a mac tb and have had no problems with them and there was a noticable gain in performance espically in the higher rpm's. But I can feel gains across the entire rpm range.

If your engine is basically stock 70 mm is perfect.. 75 is way too much it's overkill

but.. if it makes you happy go for it!
