Default With or without cats??

What is the difference in sound with cats "on" and without cats on? Also what kinda of sound can u get with an off-road pipe too?? I am confused on what to look for??// All i know is that i want a full bassini exhaust with an h pipe! lol im clueless here"

Screw cats....unless you live in Cali...no cats sounds Soooooooooo much meaner than a catted exhaust. Ditch the cats and get that mean sound that everyone loves...[>:]

I took my cats off with the stock exhaust and it sounded louder and meaner, the i got the 40 series and its badass now

It's illegal to have a catless midpipe anywhere. Federal law states you must have all factory emissions equipment installed and operational, it's up to your state to regulate it.

I live in NJ and yes its illegal......just gotta tip the inspection guy when you get it inspected and your good to go. thats what i do atleast.
