Performance question bout 99+ GT's
Well guys Im getitng out the navy soon and when I get settled down itll be time for a new car. I have to face the reality even though I will do what I can to get an 03 cobra I may not be able to afford it.Here is my question, besides stuff like a CAI or exhaust what other kind of performance mods are there for newer GTS. I know about the bullit intake but thats $800 from what I hear. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

the list would take about 7 days to just think of, another 2 wks to write it, and 48 hours to read it.
for starters:
full exhaust (headers/mid/ends)
tb's
plenum
tuner
supercharger
turbo charger
nitrous
cam
heads
intakes
basically...you can replace every single part in your engine with aftermarket parts if you wanted to. Save your money and buy a cobra though. by the time you get about (if its in like 6-8 months) and are ready to buy your car, you'll be able to get one with higher miles for probably 20-22 maybe. that'd be awesome...all of them wont be but by some chance you may find one for around there. otherwise-- your lookin at 25. Yeah I want a cobra really bad, there is a yellow on on e-bay for 23 G's buy it now. But I wasnt aware of the aftermarket for the 4.6's I appreciate the info man.

hey there 099,
if i do end up getting a Gt instead of a cobra it would identical to your set-up, theats what i picture my car having. How do you like it, any estimats on 1/4 time or anything?

he does have some good stuck. i got all that too, cept i have an mgw shifter and no tuner
but im gettin a forged shortlbock by the end of the month..that'll make up for it lol
