Default TB BRANDS?

Im getting a 70mm TB and is there a big difference in the $215 accufab and like a $160 bbk? Will there be noticeable gains with the accufab?

The gains will be like 1 or 2 hp. IMO most people go with Accufab for the *bling* *bling* than it's performance.

It's kinda like everything else in this world.....NAME BRANDS. Of course your gonna pay more for one brand over the other because one is more popular than the other. IMO sometimes the minimal gain that you get from one to the other isnt worth it.

I think that the accufab dyno'd a couple HP better in MMFF didn't it? Either way, getting an improved TB/Plenum will get you a few HP and you'll be lucky to see it much on the dyno or feel it probably. You're in the same position I am in. Deciding how much more $$$ so spend for a couple of HP here and there. I am currently in the process of polishing and porting an OEM TB/Plenum. It won't flow as well as an accufab but I paid like $20 for it on E-bay. Tired of spending $$$ for small gains.

HahahahAHAHAHAHA. Wow, don't listen to this guy.

I would ONLY reccomend a programmer if you're getting new gears/tires AND you have an automatic transmission.

t/b is a GOOD mod for throttle response, if and only if you plan on doing the rest of your intake.

Both are 70mm so there can't be that big of a difference, especially TB, plenums are different however.
