Default 99 gt mod advice needed

so i'm new to the whole mustang seen and i'm liking it, anyways i have a 99 gt with 28,000 miles and its an automatic
so my question is what is the best starter mods? i was looking at the sct xcalibrator tuners to get rid of the 4.5 k shift and speed limiter, is there a certain one that i should get or am i leaning the wrong direction? thanks

Also a tuner, it will make your auto shift alot better and give you a couple more ponies. It will be a good thing if you get gears too, because you will need to recalibrate your speedo.

so whats this j mod? and how hard are the gears? i dont want to lose mileage if its not a pretty noticeable gain, as for the 250 ponies, i'd like to get around the 300 mark and i think i'll be happy, lol

NITROUS!!!! Gears are very noticable, its been proven on here no Gas milage loss. J mod, moves the transmission fluid faster by decreasing the space to travel causeing the car to shift faster. Exhaust for the sound and frees several HP. Also even with heads and cams, all bolt ons, you will not reach that 300 RWHP mark, with out F/I.

If youre going the bolt on route, youre not hitting 300 rwhp unless you get better flowing heads. the stock 2v heads are very restrictive.

A friend of mine did intake, tb/plenum, pulleys, full exhaust, tune. And hes only at 260rwhp. Another friend of mine is doing heads/cams/full exhaust/tune and hell be at about 300rwhp when hes all done with it.

Might as well go F/I or get a 100 shot of nitrous.

thanks, i know i wont hit 300 without f/i or nitrous, theres a guy that lives close to me that wrecked his car and is selling his procharger setup but i have to check it out first since the car ran kinda shady, isn't a 100 shot going to be rough on my auto? i'm not a huge fan of it but its an idea
