Default eliminating drag radial slip edge on rims

So i have nitto 555's, 275's on 17in billet rims that i use for the track. I was told to mark the rims and tires in the same place to see how much the tire moves on the rim. I did this and after 4-5 passes the tire was moving a consistent 3-4 inches on the rim per pass @ 16psi.

Is there anyway to eliminate or lessen the tire movement on these rims?

These should take care of that.

But it should work on the billets rims, do you think? I guess i would just have to space them out accordingly. I figure i could use maybe 30 per wheel and just buy 2 sets of them.

I don't see why they wouldn't work.

I had the same problem with my MT's on V6 rims so I took them off and used some I think it was vulcanizing tire glue around from the bead to the edge of the rim.

Mine only moved a total of a couple cm's each pass though.

Those screws are for tubed tires. Not Nittos. They will leak if you try to use them. 16psi is way to low for nittos. run around 19-20psi and it should fix your problem. I run 20psi all the time and have no problems with traction or rim spin.

Yea those are basically bead locks. IMO on a tubeless tire you could have some serious problems.

Yup, not on a tubeless tire!!!

BTW-"gold iridite" finsh sounds fancy, but it's just that plain ol' zinc chromate/yellow dichromate that everything made of steel under the hood of a Jap car has on it--you know that stuff that corrodes and pits 30 to 45 seconds after you drive the car off the lot...
