Default A/C problems-need help

last nite on my way home i was runnin my a/c and i looked over in the passenger floor and there is a huge puddle of water, so i pull over and i pull down the carpet and water is runnin out really bad i cut the a/c off and it slows down for a minute then stops runnin out...what could this problem be?

The drain tube for the evaporator housing is clogged or has become disconnected...

how do i fix that when i put my hand up there was a piece of plastic that was broke in half

The exact nature of fix depends greatly upon what pice of plastic is broken.

If it's the evaporator/blower housing that's split there may be some innovative in-situ repair that can be done with epoxy/resin/fibreglass cloth; if that cannot be done that you may need to replace the entire unit which involves pulling the entire dash...

Wish I had better news, any chance you could get some photos of what is broken?

A leaking heater core is another possibility (it also means yanking the dash, etc.), however the OP said it slowed when he shut down the AC...

well ive been thinkin about doin an a/c delete anyways....so i guess now would be a good time to go ahead and do that since its broke
