Default Lash adjuster question.

I think i have to put a new lash adjuster in and was wondering if i could use one out of an old engine i have. Do i have to replace the cam follower also or do you think it would be ok to reuse the one i have. I also need to know if i do use the lash adjuster out of the other engine, do i have to prime the adjuster or bleed it and how to do it if i have to. one more question, are you supposed to be able to compress the adjuster by had or is it supposed to be stiff?

Valve rattle under a load sounds like a fuel problem. Are you running 93 octane? Try that if your not and see if it fixes the problem. If it does then you have carbon buildup in your engine and need to use some seafoam. You don't have to prime the lifters when you replace them. They will prime themselves when you start it. You do not have to change the cam followers.
