I have a 99 mustang gt. I just replaced the clutch and pressure plate and throwout bearing with a sach clutch kit...when i give the car a good bit of gas, it feels like the clutch is slipping because the rpms go up real fast and then comes back down and doesnt have much power....so what could be going on? any help would be appreciated.

Did you resurface your flywheel when you put in the new clutch?

Did you get a firewall adjuster to adjust the cable for the new clutch?

What kind of clutch is it?

w/e u do dont drive it around ur gonna burn that clutch up fast

did you put the friction plate on right? there is a flywheel and pressure plate side.

How much freeplay in the pedal? Should be 1" to 1-1/4" when you press on it with your hand...
