Default how much is a new belt tensioner and the install?

I had my car on a lift a while ago when I was putting new shoes on her and started inspecting underneath the car, found out that my belt tensioner looks to be in very bad shape. How much is a new one and how much is it to install it at a shop? Dont feel like doing it myself.

Thanks.

The installation is VERY simple, no need to pay someone to do it. Remove the belt, and unbolt the tensioner, it's really that easy.

A new Ford piece is ~$40

A new tensioner with a pulley cost me somewhere from 40-70 dollars.. sorry i cant be more specific, but i've had a 'few' things go out on me in the past 2 years, and i cant recall all the different costs

If a shop is going to do it, they shouldnt charge you 10 dollars.

So, instead of going in and making yourself look like a tool only offering them 10 dollars, park the car, relieve tension and pull off the belt, remove the 3 studs/nuts, bolt up the new one, relieve tension and install the new belt

10 minutes TOPS
