Boost-a-pump vaccum/pressure switch. I'm not sure if there is anywhere else you can get one, maybe autometer or a gauge supply place? I think they might use one for their electronic boost gauges.

so if i dont have an electric boost gauge i dont need it? i have most of the stuff installed just trying to figure out where all the vacum stuff goes. i have the harness installed from my vortech but its on the passenger side, can i still use it there or do i need to reroute it. if you have some pics of the vacum stuff installed that would be helpfull maybe i can figure out where this crap goes

Well are you running a BAP? You need it if you're running the BAP setup because as soon as you go into boost the switch triggers the voltage increase to the fuel pump and gives you the increased fuel flow you need. If you were set up for the vortech your fuel management is probably ok already and you won't need it. What is your fuel setup as it sits? There are pictures in the install manual of how to "redo" the vacuum tubing if you don't have that I can try and get some photos of it and my car tomorrow.

well all i have is a svt focus pump, and 42# injecoctors for my fuel system will that be fine for the 9 psi intercooled kit for now and then later do a 40 amp bap? all these hoses and lines are frustrating. maybe tomorrow when i go out and look at it then it will al click. atleast i hope so.

It's simple when you break it all down but yeah it's a bunch of hoses and tubing that's scary at first. I'll see if I can get you some pictures of how I routed my vacuum lines and if you need the intercooler tubing routing I can get shots of that too.

I think my buddy has the same setup as you and runs 10lbs fine. Are you getting a dyno tune after?

im running 10lbs at 365rwhp but that is with stock intake, maf, and throttle body. i talk to the owner of kb jim bell and he told me to get their cool air kit with 90maf and i will def be over 400. no really need to waste money on a dyno tune IMO

ok found out my problem i thought the vacum set up from my vortech was the same as the kb and it wasnt so i swapped them and it all hooked up. im not gonna use the bap because i think my focus pump should be sufficient for now. so im hopeing i can start it up tonight. do yall guys think it would be ok to drive with the kb chip even tho it wasnt tuned for my car? just normal driving no boosting, my tune is setup for next thursday and i need to drive my car.
