how to bump up idle?

how to bump up idle?
what is the best way to safely and easily bump up idle without a tuner?
if i remember correctly there is an idle screw on the throttle body or i could potentially adjust the throttle cable linkage?
(or there is a possibility that i am getting one of my many cars confused...)
i was just going to bump it up by around 100.
if you are wondering on the reasoning i am putting in a 240 amp alternator in and going to be running around 2200 watts rms with my new system.

Yeah. It shouldn't unless you open it a lot. the If you open the throttle body more the IAC is just going to close and your idle will be the same.
If you really need some extra rpm for the alternator just get an overdrive pulley.

could i potentially very slightly adjust the throttle linkage?
i am not concerned enough to get an overdrive pulley. bench tested it puts out ~110 amps at idle (700 RPM) and peaks at 240 amps at 1500-1800 RPM.
if not, its not a big deal.
