Twin Disc Clutch

Twin Disc Clutch
I have a spec stage 3 clutch. This is my third one. I had to replace one when I replaced flywheel with the engine swap. The problem is that I only seem to get 4 maybe 5k miles on a clutch. I do push it when I drive but I expect to get more than that out of a new clutch. My question is: Is a twin disc worth it. Will I be able to get more miles out of it. My last Dyno was 490#'s torque which is good but it is in range of the Spec stage 3. It is starting to slip real bad now plus if I get on it for any length of time you can really smell it. At 350 a piece plus labor for install this is getting expensive. If I could get twice the mileage out of a twin disc it would be worth it. If you have used one before let me know what brands are the best. Thanks.

Twin discs are nice they defin. can hold more than single disc. clutches but if your hard on a clutch or ride it your gonna have problems much faster than most. However its all in what you want to spend or what your gonna do down the road if your going for more power than a twin disc. is the way to go thats what i have in my cobra its a 26spline twin D2 from Zoom its been pretty good so far
