Id still go with an X pipe.
Guys, try to give reasonwhen you make a reccomendation please. Even though it may have been said 1,000 times before.

X-pipe will give the power your looking for then
huh? The whopping 3hp difference? Or did you mean new X vs. stock? Then yes, it's a good bit of difference. However, between X and H is minimal.

What ever you get....go no cats...it sound SOOOOO much meaner!!
Yeah, you're right, they do sound meaner on most setups. However, there's a $10,000 fine in VA for not having cats... Find out if your state has emissions first. If not, go o/r, cheaper pipes, louder. If so, you can either go o/r, risk the fine, and swap you stock pipe on for emissions, or just get a catted mid-pipe and lose the 4-5hp.

I am a fan of the H-pipe. I've had both an X and an H. The H is MUCH deeper and produced a much nicer sound. I had both the X and H w/ magnaflows. Driving my car was more fun with the H, I just loved the sound of it. I really noticed 0 power difference between the two.
I live in VA too and i am going with an H pipe too. NO FINES FOR ME!! I have heard sound clips of both the X and the H, and the H sounds cleaner to me!!!

I use an MRT catted H-pipe. Fitment was excellent and the sound is great, especially with an SLP Loudmouth catback.
