T3650 tranny question...
I have an 05 GT with 10000 mi on it and I have a grinding type of noise while @ idle in neutral. When you push in on the clutch it goes away slowly which tells me its input shaft noise instead of throw out bearing, anyone have this prob?

I would bet that its your throwout bearing.. The bearing is probably dry and worn out, when it has no pressure on it it is just rattling. As you press the clutch, and apply pressure on the bearing it squeezes it up so it doesn't rattle.

I have heard several 3650's making that mainshaft noise in neutral, including my '03.
It did it when I got it in December of '06 with 30k miles, and one of the first things I did was change the tranny fluid--which had no sign of any metal or other nastiness. I replaced the fluid with RP Synchromax, and it still made the same noise.
I changed the fluid again at 60k miles, it looked new...
Now at 75k miles, it makes exactly the same noise and I've moved on to other things to worry about...
