Blew my engine, engine swap time.

Best bet is to get an engine out of a 88+ OR possibly an 02+ crown vic but he'll have to still buy a PI intake if he uses a CV.

Yeah i know it is, but its pretty much my only option. The mustang is my daily driver and ride to work so i need something real soon. Im going to try and get more information on it and see if they can find the mileage and if not see if they will drop the price or extend the warranty.

yeah just as a word of caution, alot of yard warranties arn't worth the paper they are written on.. at least not unless your willing to not put with any crap - if it does go south make sure they dont work you over

are you guys dealing local or like a national advertised yard? Ive had a few friends get ripped locally - the yards always give old "installer error" excuse, just get it in writing I guess. I suppose its like any other warranty, I mean they can claim what ever, it just hard to find good honest people to deal with now-a-days

+1. Be sure to get specific warranty info written in language that you understand. Some warranties will require that the yard mechanic do the install at big $$$. Some may call for a certified mechanic (big labor charge). If your mind is set on this engine, then you should at least haggle a few hundred off the price. Do this to cover for the warranty that they are not likely to honor anyway. Have them get the motor ready first, then pull out $475 -$600 in small bills (fives, tens and twenties). Tell them thats the best you can do. Cash talks...
